Resend (channel provider)

All transactional and outreach email leaves the platform through Resend using an API key that Ultimate Quantum AI operates. You do not supply a Resend account. What you control is the sending domain your agents send from and which agents have an address.

The CRO sends personalized prospect outreach (48-hour contact-spacing gate); the CFO sends invoice reminders (72-hour cooldown plus the FDCPA Regulation F gate); the CMO sends campaign content; the COO handles vendor and hiring correspondence. Replies come back through the platform’s inbound webhook into the contact timeline.

  • Plan: any plan. Outreach volume is capped per plan (Starter 25/day, Professional 50/day, Business and Enterprise unlimited).
  • A verified sending domain. Every agent address must live on a domain that is registered with the provider and verified for your brand. Two options:
    • your managed subdomain <your-slug>.ultimateteam.ai, or
    • a subdomain you own, for example send.acme.com. In both cases the domain is registered with Resend by the platform team for your brand — there is no self-serve form yet — and you add the SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records it returns at your DNS registrar. When Resend’s domain.updated webhook reports the domain as verified with sending enabled, the platform marks the brand’s sending domain verified. Until then, provisioning an address on that domain is refused with 403.
  • You cannot use ultimateteam.ai itself or another tenant’s managed subdomain.
Terminal window
curl -X POST https://app.ultimateteam.ai/api/v1/agents/cro/identity \
-H "Authorization: Bearer <owner session token>" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"type": "email", "config": {"domain": "send.acme.com", "display_name": "Chief Revenue Officer"}}'

Omit domain to use your managed <slug>.ultimateteam.ai subdomain. The response returns the provisioned address and the agent’s hourly and daily sending limits, and the platform publishes identity.provisioned. If provisioning fails at the provider, nothing is saved and the call returns 503.

Outbound commercial mail is sent as “Role at Business” from that address; replies are threaded on RFC message IDs so conversations stay continuous.

Commercial (outreach or marketing) email is validated at delivery time, independently of the Quality Gate:

  1. AI-assistance disclosure present (injected automatically).
  2. Physical mailing address present, from your compliance profile.
  3. A working unsubscribe link present; it resolves to a no-login page that adds the recipient to your suppression list immediately.
  4. Recipient not on the suppression list, and not suppressed by the provider (bounces and complaints).
  5. Contact-timeline spacing and the agent’s sending limits satisfied.

Every send is recorded as a delivery attempt before the provider is called, so a retried request can never send twice, and the provider receipt is verified against that record. Platform notifications (invitations, password resets) skip the commercial-content checks but still respect provider suppression.

Terminal window
curl -X DELETE https://app.ultimateteam.ai/api/v1/agents/cro/identity/email \
-H "Authorization: Bearer <owner session token>"

This disables the agent’s email identity and clears its address; the platform publishes identity.revoked.
